We began as a mission of five local Southern Baptist churches. These five churches, along with what was then called the Home Mission Board, developed a plan to start a church in the Roseville area. Tim Gentry began the work as a home Bible study in September 1982. The Bible study was officially formed as a church on September 30, 1984.
The church was named West Roseville Baptist Church (WRBC.) At that time, the congregation met in a hall which is down the street from the current facility. On June 30, 1986, WRBC purchased acreage and worked hard to construct a building that they could call their own. By God’s grace, they met for the first time in their new building on March 24, 1991.
The church changed its name to Grace Bible Church in 2005. Pastor Rod Santiago accepted the call to serve as the Lead Pastor in March of 2008. The Lord has been faithful to build His church and we look forward to what He has in store for us as we seek to bring glory to His name.
